Armenian Border Graphics

This page contains graphics which can be used on web pages, flyers, and many other places. The graphics come from numerous illuminated manuscripts, khachkars, and other places and the source is documented on this page. The following three graphics are the same exact file, illum_26a.jpg but displayed at different sizes. So the first picture, displayed at 183x79 is the original, high quality graphic. The second one, is still the same file, but I just use html to show it proportionally smaller, at 95x41 so that it appears half as large. However, it is still the same file, and has not lost any quality. The third one is displayed at about 33% of the first, at 63x27. You can view my html to see how the size is specified.


The illuminated manuscript graphics come from the book "Ornaments of Armenian Manuscripts", which was published by the Soviet Armenian government in 1978.
