Location in ArmeniaThis church, which is situated in "Pokr blur" (small hill) called plain place is built in a quadrangle rampart. It's a small- size domed one-nave hall-monument, which is built from half- timmed gratie and baked brick. (p. 43c, 44). St. Hakob- Hairapet church (graph 5) consists of a praying-hall and a rectangle vestry in eastern side, has two entries in western and southern fronts. Both the exterior and the interior of the construction are restrained.

Almost in the middle of the cover, in the round underdome territory between two pairs of wall-pillars i placed the high polyhedral and brick dome with wide windows. The interior of the church is plastered and had had wall-paintings. The wall-pillars of the praying-hall are quite large and come out of the walls around 1m.

St. Hakob- Hairapet's rectangle vestry is two-story, the first floor of which is again of the same size (2, 25 x 5, 55m) rectangle sacristy. The latter in northern and southern walls has bays with square openings. The vestry is lit by the window in eastern wall.

The inscription on the church- dome (inside) written with black ink and large letters evidences that it was rebuilt in 1901, during six months. St. Hakoba- Hairapet is one of the noteworthy monuments of Agulis with its interesting architectural solutions.
