Levon Ter-Petrosian
Former President Levon Ter-Petrosian broke his nearly decade-long silence Friday with an unusually harsh attack on the current authorities in Yerevan which he branded “criminal and corrupt” and accused of turning Armenia into a “third world country.”This statement is only laughable because he was actually set the precedent for criminal and corrupt regimes in Armenia!

As you can see, I've deleted a pretty long exchange. Although someone commenting anonymously was making assumptions about me in their comment that I took issue with, I should have simply not published their comment, and left it at that. Thanks Lusin for pointing this out, and sorry H for not simply ignoring you.
Well the fallout of the Petrosian speech was not just here :-) Two very interesting articles on Radio Free Europe today:

The first about the reaction of Vasken Manoukian, the candidate who Levon most likely lost to in 1996, can called out tanks to prevent a change of power.
The second is an article about Kocharian warning LTP to stay out of politics.
