Ruben, Panagoom, and Armenian Air
Ok... really quickly since I'm in a rush....
On the 9th, I went to a Ruben Hakhverdian concert at Opera, which was AMAZING...
On the 16th I went to the opening of the ARF Youth Organization's Panagoom at Yeraploor....
Then, while at Vernisage with my friend, I discovered the FUNNIEST thing... Ya, you can buy a small can (like a tuna can) of ARMENIAN AIR for 1500 drams (about $5) and it is seriously an empty can.... lol

The ARF Youth Organization program, what is that about? Please comment on links you can recommend on them. Looks like they are in line much like scouts.
Wow, air...
The crazy thing is that it's all wrapped up and appears to be a brand and everything. People really threw themselves into this... air business, I can't imagine it paying off all that much though. This reminds me of an episode of Doug where the exchange student gave him a jar of air from his home country. I always thought it was pretty pointless because... well once you open it the air is gone and replaced with normal blah American air. I guess all one can do is be satisfied with the knowledge that you have Armenian air, and maybe just breathe it once or twice if you keep the lid on the rest of it real tight.
Of course that's not a problem as long as you're still in Armenia! Hahaha. Just capture you're own air... I'm sure you're paying for htat wonderful packaging though!
lol ya, whoever made the air souvenir definitely spent time on the packaging! I think it's more of a joke than anything else, playing on the fact that tourists get excited about the WEIRDEST things in Armenia.... :)
