R.P.'s "Blue Bird" premiere BUMPED AGAIN!

(Sorry people. I know quite a few interested people have messaged me regarding the premiere of this video. The TV station has just bumped our spot for the third time. Seems that other singers are more important than us. Anyway, here is my original blog with the new date.)

Guys and gals, if you've got the Armenian State TV channel H1, and you get the music program Rubicon, try to check out the premiere of a new music video of a song I produced and mixed for one of my new projects. The artist's name is R.P. The song is an eclectic mixture of pop, r&b, with some aggressive moments, and Asian elements. Not a typical catchy pop song, but ....... different.

The song is called Kapuyt Trchun (Blue Bird), and it was co-written by my friend Hayk Harutyunyan, the founder of the group HAYQ, who is also the composer of "Qami Pchi".

The video airs this coming MONDAY, APRIL the 9TH at 21:30 in Armenia. H1's program schedule is available here (the satellite schedule is under PanArmenian TV.)

I don't want to spoil it with too many pics, but here are a couple of stills I got from the video. One is of Hayk and I making an appearance in the video.

I remember watching RP perform this song at the Eurovision final. I thought it was the best pop song of the bunch and the most suited for the event. But...

Anyway, great job. The video looks so well executed. Great colors!

How can we see the video if we don't have H1? Is it online anywhere?

Hello. Der Hova, are you a producer from Armenia?? That's so wonderful! Who else is in that new band called RP?
Where can I find the video, or at least that exact song??
Could you send it by an email?

Sorry people, the video premiere date has been bumped to Thursday, April the 5th. I will update my blog right now.

R.P. is a new female singer from Armenia. "Kapuyt Trchun" will be her first official single. We've spent quite a bit of time on the actual production of the music video, and we're hoping the public will accept it .... NOT! lol .... no no, seriously, it's a great video, and just like the song itself, it's quite a unique mixture of many styles. Definitely very different compared to other Armenian music videos.

anonymous #1, once the premiere takes place this Thursday, I will have someone upload the video on the internet, and will definitely mention the address here.

anonymous #2 you can read more about my work at www.myspace.com/derhova

karnig, thanks for the support.

der hova, i just listened to the snippet of the r.p. song on your myspace and it sounds really really good for an armenian pop which i hate to say i really hate with the exception of the jazz scene. but this may even change my attitude if you continue in this vein. sounds really really pro. is it going to be available in the satates or i have to wit till i come to the hairenik to get it?

artyom thanks for the positive feedback.

We don't have any concrete plans for distribution just yet. We're actually in the process of figuring out R.P.'s future singles with a management company which has shown great interest in this project. I will definitely keep everyone posted on here as well as my myspace page.

Thanks again for the support.
