Godless: The Leftist Hater
I know I just posted minutes ago, but this was too delicious to not write about. It escaped me during the last post, sorry. So it seems that Ann Coulter, a conservative author, columnist and political commentator, has once again gone toooooo far. Just a brief window into this woman's views, she is an extreme right-winger who considers moderate Republicans as commies (editorializing a bit) and has a following for being completely outrageous. She wrote a book called "Godless: The Church of Liberalism." It speaks for itself.
So at a recent gathering Coutler was speaking to her supporters about the Democratic candidates and referenced to John Edwards as a fa**ot. Edwards chose to post the clip of this uncensored: http://johnedwards.com/, but I'd rather not use the word. Is it Godless to want a better planet for our children and to take care of our fellow man in need, or is it Godless to spew out rhetorics of hate? I mean really, Jesus was basically a hippy. Even though my first impression of Anne Coulter has been that of a nut case, I think she is quite a smart and articulate person. Not in a nice way but in a Hitler kind of a way. She is a major asset to the right wingers but will always remain a footnote in American politics. I don't know if she believes in what she says but she is quite good at what she does. Too bad the left is too polite to adopt similar tactics to neutralize her and the other fascist windbags on talk radio or Fox News.
I completely agree, for the conservatives, she has been an incredible mouthpiece... until now. This is why I am commenting on her. For such a powerhouse, to slip up like that is so out of character and a sign of weakness, I think. Despite the fact that I think she is spreading hate rhetoric and dividing the country, she does it very well. Perhaps this is a sign that she is losing her foothold as the conservative grip on the nation is loosening.
