Nobel Pamuk not safe in Turkey & Armenia honored in Paris

After having cancelled his journey in Germany, where many many turks live, 2006 Nobel winner Orhan Pamuk also seems to have left definitely his own country, Turkey, according to the british newspaper TelegraphCoUk.
He has been reminded that threats are to be taken seriously. Unfortunately solidarity demonstrations have now left place to opposite hate incitating movements...

But in Paris, Louvres museum is preparing to begin next week its big exposure "Armenia Sacra" next week, be ready ! Conferences are abounding, it's becoming hard to follow !

Prudence vs Hope, an eternal mix to proportion ...

Jilda, I am really looking forward to reading about all your experiences during the year of Armenia in France. I recently saw a program listing all the events scheduled to take place in France and WISH I could be there for even just one of them.

Please do share all your stories!!!

Incredible list indeed and personnal anecdotes are abounding. The funniest ones are when it's french people that inform me of an armenian event in their arounds. Recently a friend even joked about the "armenian mafia", he see armenians everywhere ! lol
Really nice to hear all this cause i still remember that not so long ago, people hardly knew what and where Armenia is.
Anyway, of course i'm doing my best to share the most here :o)
