New Yerevan

Here, without commentary, is a photo of the first open section of the new pedestrian street (the Northern Avenue) which is shooting up right in the heart of Yerevan. None of the restaurants/cafes which I assume will line the street are open yet. Other than that, the weather here is scorching hot!

Looks like it's gonna be a neat area for shopping and entertainment.

Do you think we might be able to cram a different cafe under every single arch and then get them to play different music at the same time?
Needs a little neon too.

UGLY.

But then again, one can't expect more/better from capitalism.

Basturma Chronicler, it's noy ugly. It's a typical Amerrican style metropolitan project. Even those lights are exactly the same as the ones found in the US.
