I'm glad to announce the official release of "the" song on the internet. It's available for downloading on the newest Armenian showbiz portal Starmenia.
HAYQ's Qami Pchi can be downloaded at this site www.starmenia.eu/hayq
This is the first official legal release of the song, and unlike the pirated versions that have been spreading around, this is not a low quality mp3 release. It's a high quality file (192kbps) WITH the extended "zurna" bit.
All profits will go towards the HAYQ project, which the group and I are very dedicated to continue. We look forward to every fan's support :-)

I downloaded the song just now, and I love it. The only thing is that its kinda short :) Do you think the same version used in the video will be available for download soon?

The version in the video is actually slightly shorter than this. :-)
sorry about that....i just found out that i downloaded it partly :) i now have the complete song and i'm happier :) i don't speak armenian but i'm going to have my friend translate it for me this weekend...
As I had written in a previous comment, I just bought the song 5 times. I know that doesn't sum up to a great amount, but a little support is better than none. I love that there is such a good response to modern music in Armenia. Maybe one day we can respect each other's creative property enough not to steal it!

i truly hope this isn't the future of 'modern music' in armenia.. i understand that pop songs like this will win over the masses no matter what part of the world you're in, but where are the next hakhverdians and meschians?
Bought my download, got nada...its no problem, I understand discrepancies happen, but I do have my online receipt from paypal showing proof of payment and processing...I just wanna hear the song...I may have to buy it again, I don't mind excessive support. Support is support. How dirt cheap is a whole buck 99 anyway? But! I wanna hear the song...why am I not getting the link emailed to moi?

Der Hova, you did an excellent job producing this song. Putting together such a phat beat and melody truly brings a fresh rhythm to Armenia’s current pop acclaim.
I've been in Armenia with Natacha about 24 hours and have heard this song at least 10 times. It has blown up... Good work HAYQ and Harout.
I was driving down Glenoaks Blvd. in Burbank a couple of days ago and a BMW X5 stopped at a light next to me, windows down and blasting Qami Pchi.
Der Hova, verche barzevetsav...I got the song AND I even downloaded the video. I have made a ritual already out of listening to it like repetitively for about 5-6 times daily before I start work each morning - this, because I need to decompress right when I get to work from the hour commute to the job...I LOVE IT BTW!!! GREAT JOB!!! (plus everyone @ work knows not to disturb me for a whole 20 minutes) Aaaaaand - I particularly enjoy the part in the song say about 1 min 52 seconds into the remastered version after the zurna kick-off and thru the sound of a ticking clock (that whole sequence basically which lasts like 10 seconds until like 2 minutes 3 seconds into the song) I've got the whole thing down spat by now...
