They also make Brie (which they have not included on the site, but I know 'cause I tried it a couple of times while their company was just starting out.)
I hope they do well. Whatever I've tried so far was quite impressive.
Nevermind, they do have it on their site as Camembert instead of Brie.
The Products page can be setup better, 'cause if you ignore the text like I did, you'll think that they only prepare Cheesecakes and Cream Cheese, whereas they also prepare Gouda and Blue, along with Camembert/Brie.
Great stuff. Hope to see their products in stores as well.
Actually we produce only cream cheese and cheesecake at the moment. We did produce camembert, blue and gouda at the beginning of our start-up for test marketing. We possess all the technology to produce the cheeses listed on the products page of our website. I have benchmarked all the technology from US family owned cheesemaking business thanks to Community Connections program, implemented by IREX Armenia.
But unfortunately we can not enter the market all at once. We will produce and distribute our next product (probably camembert) in several months.
At the moment our customers enjoy our delicious cream cheese and cheesecakes paying only $7.70 for one kg cheesecake, that is true!!! Come to Armenia and order one!!!

Hi Garen - I'm quite looking forward to tasting your cheesecake, but having to have it delivered is a bit hard for me. Please at least find one store to sell it for you so I can go and just buy one whenever I feel like it. SAS, Mantashoff, Panini and other stores I'm sure would be happy to sell it.
Hi Raffi – Please follow the updates on our website. We have a page listing all the retailers selling our products. The first one will be posted today. http://www.cheezler.com/Retailers.htm. There are also several cafes we are negotiating for selling our cream cheese they can bake their cheesecakes. Will list their names as soon as we agree on something. As you have noticed we are new entrants to the market, and are building our market step by step.
Guys, an odd question... Garen, perhaps you can answer this for me... Why does the name of your company end in "ler"? For any of you who are Turkish speakers - the "ler" suffix pluralizes the noun I believe. Like "cheezler" essentially means cheeses in...turkglish!?! I'm sorry Garen, its just that thats all I could think of when I first read it...and by the way, congrats with the company - may it flourish and thrive and may YOUR cheesecakes be enjoyed my the masses in Armenia...I especially liked the recipe section of your webiste. May we submit western & regional cheese based recipes to this section? make it inter-active? (and guys, isn't "Panir-Hatz" like the quintessential armenian food?) 1. Panir-Hatz-Chai (w/tea) 2. Panir-Hatz-Dzemerook (w/H2O-MELON) 3. Panir-Hatz-Khaghogh (w/grapes) ...and my oh so personal fave, Panir-Hatz with ripe, plump and slightly tart Red Cherries :)
“CheeZLer” has nothing common with any word from the Turkish language. CheeZLer is the combination of Armenia Ler (mountain) and English Cheese. Our company is locates very close to Aragats mountain and we use only the fresh milk of those caws that are bred on the grasslands of the Aragats Mountain. That is why we have cheese and the outline of Aragats Mountain drawn on our company logo.
As I know the "lar" suffix pluralizes the noun in Turkish and not “ler”.
Regarding to the recipes, you are welcome to send us any if you think is unique and we can make with CheeZLer cheeses. We will be very pleased to post them on our website.

1 kg of cheesecake for $8. WOW!
I wonder how it tastes. I'll try it the next time I visit Armenia.
