Armenians and the Left
As you all know, the Armenians and the Left conference will be happening in New York/Boston this weekend. In all, 20 of us from Toronto rented a bus and came down to New York to attend. We just checked into our hotel right now and are going to go downtown soon for some sightseeing...The conference begins tonight at 7:00....Hopefully everything will go well! I will keep you posted.....

This conference sounds really interesting - I wish I had more information on it. I am wondering if anyone knows where to find scholary articles on how globalization is impacting Armenia. I noticed there is a panel on this topic - I find it interesting myself.
The conference in New York was quite thought provoking. I didn't see you though Rupen, oh well, but I'm sure you know Ara from Toronto who was there, he was in Armenia with me this past summer.
a truely inspiring conference...it is SO refreshing to partake in this type of Armenian event..God knows we need more of them...and it was great seeing all the familiar faces from Armenia 05...i loved our unexpected mini Birthright reunion in NYC!
This Conference is only the first step in starting a discussion about these issues. But the exchange of ideas is continuing on the discussion forums on the website. Check it out.
