Just a short one. First of all, a very belated Happy New Year to all of you!!!
I am still in Lebanon, having a good time. Lebanon is an interesting country, a mixture of the Middle-East, Europe and the US (the Lebanese rival the Americans as worshippers of their cars!).
I am writing this from an internet club in Bourj Hammoud, the Armenian quarter in Beirut. Until I came to Armenia at the beginning of December, I didn't really know any Diaspora-Armenians, only local Armenians. That has changed since then and here in Lebanon I am getting familiar with the Diasporan side of 'being Armenian' as well, which is quite interesting for me. And I am getting used to understanding Western-Armenian. ;-)
Sorry, if I expressed my thoughts somewhat incoherently and didn't get into a lot of detail. Will try to post more next time.
