Armenian flash...
A couple of people sent me this link to an Armenian flash animation which they said is quite funny... the internet's not fast enough for me to watch it just now, but no reason for you not to check it out and let me know how it is :-)

This is extreme dark humor Kojian. I hate it. I think it’s repulsive, negative, physiologically warped and unmistakably bigoted and intolerant. I’m formally requesting a post-retraction on this one. Our people and culture, dynamic as we are, have come a long way and I don’t think or feel this cartoon fairly represents what we are all about. Let’s not kid ourselves, mass audiences learn to foster prejudice by dark comedy, and this is no exception.
lighten up - it's extremely funny - where's your sense of humor?
I think its hilarious - and as Armenians we have no place to talk about dark humour - I'm sure we invented it! -- its created by Armenians, for Armenians- and it made me laugh= good.
I heard this joke made on Armenian tv yesterday, on a program talking about the bad /good sides of internet:
Presenter: Nuinisk mi depk er grancvel Amerikaum vordex mart@ xelagarveler yerp ir internet@ mek jamov anjatvac er.
Psychotherapist/expert : Baic Amerikaciner@ xelagarvumen erp irenc luis@ mek jamov en anjatvum.
** laughter and applause from audience **
-see..!
You say "lighten up.." Sorry, I really can't on this one. Listen-up all you clowns, In comic related communications theory dark humor devastates the reputation and sincere being of the main character (in this case our heavily accented ethnic Armenian fast food fan-source.) There is noting amusing about stereotyping one of our own in a despicable derogatory flash animation. I'm actually dismayed by your sarcastic stance Harmick. You obviously need to read up on the subject of ethnic tolerance. All it takes is one injustice to facilitate prejudice.
Perhaps if so many Armenians ( including my own family, and friends ) - in areas like L.A didnt conform so strictly to the stereotype of the Armenian in the animations - then they wouldn't be made.,,and we really do have more important things to worry about . Im as proud as the next person, but sometimes Armenians can be funny.
I think the flash joke is horrible not because it promotes a negative stereotype of Armenians, but, it isn't even funny! I think the idiot character in all of this is the guy taking the order who can't understand "12".
And, it is offensive to Armenians. I totally agree with Hagop on this one and think Harmick is off base.
anonymous you are right the idiot is the guy taking the order. Perhaps he is turkish?
So why are we all offended then? The guy making the order is saying it fine.
