Starbucks anyone?

For those who miss your cafe mochas, caramel machiatos, and other starbucks drinks... well you no longer need to. Take a walk over to the corner of Terian and Moscovian and you will find a small kiosk named 'Gapas'. Gapas sells most Starbucks drinks and gets its ingredients from an American Armenian who apparently owned or worked at a Starbucks. Mornings no longer seems so bleak!

Its probably the same people that've been bringing it for the past couple or more years. I just cant remember which store it was that was selling it then.

Is this allowed? Eg. Would Starbucks stop it?

When the gap store on mashtotc opened it was called "GAP" , and I got in touch with one of my friends who manages a GAP store here in the UK, and he told me that GAP would pursue it strongly. They changed the name to "Gap Land".

For SURE there is no one who "owned" a starbucks since they don't franchise... (I know, I worked there and tried to get the inside scoop.. haha).

harmick I had never seen it being called Gap before, that doesnt sound right to me. Its always been that stupid Gapland with their sample clothing. The store is about 50-60 square meters, can you ever picture a Gap store being that small?

Arsen, when it was being built, it had a big "GAP" sign on the front, lit up.- This is why I noticed it..

I have before and after pictures which I took for my friend at GAP, I will dig them out if you want.

I agree, it is tiny and the clothes are overpriced and bad.

I didnt know sorry. It would be cool to see pics though.

Ya the clothes suck. But if we had a few decent stores we wouldnt even have this conversation, we wouldnt even bother talking about a retarded place like this.

I Agree. It's interesting, that huge new shopping mall(was GUM market) thats opened near what was russia cinema is FULL of crappy Turkish import clothes shops. I would have thought that perhaps some bigger names would have brought stores to this mall..or perhaps it hasn't been publicised well enough

They should do what my sister thought of doing a while ago... starting a cafe called "Startpucks" to confuse people without getting sued. kidding. But seriously, I don't drink Starbucks here (DC), nor would I there. The nenes make far better coffee.
