System on Tour
Another spinning 48 hours of Systemania. I drove down with a fellow ANCA volunteer to Hampton, Virginia (the absolute Southeastern tip of Virginia... 3 hours away from my house) to man the ANCA booth at System's show. All worth it since we got to watch their entire set from backstage. Well worth it.Three hours of sleep and a full day of work later, a much larger group of us headed for Baltimore, Maryland (1 hour North) for their next show. This time, others worked the booth while I came with camera in hand. Taking photos at these shows is much more stressful than I realize when out of the moment, but last night, I don't even remember listening to the first three songs because I was taking photos. That's a shame, but I still enjoy it through that perspective that few get to experience. Anyway, here are the photos from the show. Needless to say, they rocked the house!
Their follow up album "Hypnotize" to their 2 disc set will be out in November. Their success may be unpredictable and bizarre, but there is no doubt that System has made their mark in music history. I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am. You can see all my photos from this show at http://www.digitalrailroad.net/Arsineh.

Great pics.
Thanks Onnik. Hopefully these wont be mixed up with the Worst Album cover contest. :)
I will share one funny thing I saw last night. I was watching Comedy Central (Daily Show) and Adam Corrolla has a new show that follows where he basically lets out all the things that drive him crazy throughout the day. He goes through slides of things that are funny that he can complain about... one of the slides last night was of a "Little Armenia" sign and he complained that in LA there is no Little Italy, but there is a Little Armenia. I was busting out laughing. He also pointed out Little Ethiopia too. Don't worry, it wasn't insulting.
Saw it. I laughed my ass off. I was wondering the same thing when I was there in May.
Yeah, I noticed the Little Armenia sign while I was going from the Century Plaza Hotel (where I was ) to head down to Dodger Stadium last year as well! The poor people on the bus probably thought I was a little nuts when I snapped a picture of the sign from the bus! (Public Transportation is your friend when you're on the Road!) I try not to be too tourist-y when I'm out on the road for work! Those are some great concert pictures of the band! Don't think you have to worry about the pics getting confused with those album covers! I used to work in a previous life as a DJ at a Christian radio station, and we had some real doozies! I didn't think I'd EVER see any album covers as bad as those! those album covers you guys have dug up could give those Christian records a real run for the money! I wish I had known about those System shows ahead of time! I would have LOVED to see them live! As far as a Little Italy goes, thank God for Baltimore! I'll take Bawlmer's Little Italy over New York's any time! The food!......
