Happy News
I'm listening to NPR (National Public Radio) and they are talking about research on happiness. One of the guests was talking about his website www.happynews.com which apparently reports on the positive news in the world, or sheds light on the positive aspects of news. So I decided to go to the website... how can you not. Who doesn't want to hear happy news? And under "Top Stories," the first news item is "Volunteers to help build Armenia homes." How very happy indeed.

Was it a habitat for humanity project?
Yup. Check it out... http://www.happynews.com
Happy news...positivity...I'm all for that. It’s a breath of fresh air when you experience anything positive and happy.
Happy News will only pay its journalists a penny and a half a word. They're running a sweat shop. Someone should write about that!
Come on, some journalists get paid very well, especially the ones that get syndicated. Besides, they do their work on the passion, and not for the money. But you know, a penny and a half per word is low. We have to give them credit for making this world a lot more interesting. I wonder if Armenian journalists get paid per word?
I doubt many of the journalists out there would write for passion only, let alone a penny and a half.
