I'm writing from Sam's house. It's Saturday afternoon and we just heard Hagoop, a repat from Cyprus that just returned from India. He went through a seminar at the Isha Center. It is a Yoga/Meditation training. He gave us a presentation about his experience at this center as well as his trek to the Himalayas. It was fascinating to see a friend so passionate about something so interesting. Thanks to him I am more knowledgeable. I have been interested in alternative spiritual paths. I am and have been Christian since my christening, but I have never found true spiritual fulfillment in the Armenian Church. Most of the priests I have come across in the Armenian Church have disappointed me with ignorant answers to fundamental questions. I have never done Yoga exercises but I am considering this path that might lead me to where it is I want to be spiritually.
