Well I am back from beautiful Shamshadin, which reminds me so much of Karabakh. After talking about it so much, let me just post a picture of the rolling green foresty hills which you never want to leave... Unfortunately the roads are not to good and it is far from Yerevan, but I still think it is well worth the trouble of visiting it, and the fantastic monasteries there as well. The sites were quite interesting again, but the slaughterhouse was not operating yet, so there was no gore to report or share... sorry!

In my personal life, my 4 year relationship is over, which is something I don't want to talk about any more than that, but it is a huge change in my life. This weekend I will visit friends in Garni and next week I move, so really my life continues to be like a 3 ring circus. I am really looking forward to the peacefulness of the village though.
