Last night I went to one of the few performances taking place in Yerevan these days. It was the one man stand up comedy show of Vartan Bedrossian. This guy is FUUUUUNNY! He had a good handleon his material. He went from making fun of the Arabs and the US about the silly war and he gave an interesting analogy about the whole thing. He also made a crack at the elections here and the candidates. What was interesting was that he would name names and would not hesitate to poiny out precise things. One of his stories (will make it short not to bore you) was about how in the past most leaders ofthe world were tall like Chirac, Clinton and Derbedrossian. Heassociated hight and intelligence. He said that the trend now was the shorties. Bush is shorter than Clinton, Putin shorter than Yeltsin and Kocharian shorter than LTP. Chirac was left alone and was looking for a tall guy ... who was Armenian (like him ;o)) So he associates himself with Koch. He says that Koch is Armenian, Short hence not too smart, LTP is Tall, Smart but not ...
I hope I didn't kill his story. I am a very bad story teller. But I do know how to party.
Tomorrow I will head out to visit the second LCO group in Ayroum. The first group faced very harsh conditions. We tried to work things out for the second group and it seemed that we have succeeded. Friday I will visit the Shushi group who is working on the Hospital. They are great. I can't wait to go back on Karabagh soil again.
Yerevan is just too hot.... way too hot to enjoy anything.
Didi I tell you that I had finished shooting my film? I am now working on the sound and will soon start the editing. I am working with Bars Media to produce the film. All I can say is it will be a great peice... I hope!
