Good day everybody,
I am a new logger and here is a short intro about me.
I have arrived to Armenia about a month ago and I have the good intentions to stay here for good. I have finally passed the phase of geographic adaptation, which was not only accompanied by a jetlag but also with horrible headaches for 4-5 days and muscle aches for about 10 days, followed by a digestive system failure. I link it to the idea of walking upside down with a 45 degree tilt (I arrived here from Indianapolis, IN, USA).
I have worked in various Information Technology fields, mainly in banking systems, while in USA. Currently I am learning about the IT industry here, in Armenia.
Yesterday it was the second phase of the presidential elections, and it was really nice to see people going to the polling stations in festive moods. I missed the opportunity to participate to it as an observer this time, probably during the Parliamentary Elections. I need to find out if Cyprus is an OSCE member country.
Today, early morning, the Police said that they made some arrests related to Tigran Naghdarlians (Public TV Chief) assassination on December 2002. I think this is another trick to redirect the public attention from the mass violations that took place during the elections and also it might fuel the crackdown and witch hunt on the opposition.
There are many interesting things around that I believe will interest you, too. I will also be posting pictures from time to time. Please, feel free to contact me.
