A few days ago, I was told that Ambassador Ordway is paying a visit to the area, including the Hairenik Building (in Boston). Everyone in the building has been turning their offices upsidedown this whole week to be presentable. I even had to go out and buy new storage boxes to make the mess of junk look like organized junk. But I will say, this office is looking HOT! If only I could get a nice Armenian rug in here, I could cover up the rust stains and roof leak stains in the carpet. Someone said to me yesterday that one of our problems is that we always want to look good for others, never ourselves. If that's the case, I wish Ordway would come around more often. I just hope he doesn't make it to the basement (eep!). Such is life in volunteer work... an underrated experience.
