Tomorrow I should pay the electricity and phone bill. The phone bill is $1.75 for the month, and the electricity will be about $15 I suppose. I could check at the entrance to the building if I cared to know the exact amount, since everyone's bill and last months payment are displayed for all to see. You have to go to the post office to pay these bills for some reason. The postal system here seems to work fine, it is just that *nobody* uses it. I don't know if there is a checking account system either, but I have heard some rumors about autopayment for the phone bill. I can't confirm that.

In a few days J'rashkhar (Waterworld) will open for the summer season. I did not bother to go last summer, even during the heat wave, so we'll see if I hold out again. You can see the whole waterpark from the highway leading to Lake Sevan and it looks pretty decent, but I hardly went when I was in SoCal, so no reason to start going now, right?
