Notice the rather sudden decline of posts about the remodeling jobs? Mine is coming very near to completion, and there is nothing left to buy except a sofa and TV and some other misc things. The actual remodeling is practically done! The balcony is being tiled and should be finished this weekend. The parquet floors should begin on Monday (the only good thing about this unbearable heat wave is that the cement and plaster dry quicker) and really in about another week give or take a couple of days my place should be ready. It would have been ready already if I hadn't had such trouble finding interior doors. I think I will probably live in that house, and rent this one out. Home prices seem to be starting to swing up a bit, a trend which may continue for a long time. These prices may become the historic low of all time... Where else can you buy a nice studio apt in downtown for $6,500? It's crazy!
